We are expanding our work and require Registered Children Nurse (RCN), to join our family, for a rolling 1:1 Nurse package – Immediate start.

To apply for the RCN position, you must have:

  • Valid NMC Pin
  • At least 1-year clinical Complex experience as a Registered Nurse (within the last 2 years in the UK)
  • Has experience working with children – such as A&E/ITU/RCN experience.
  • Able to provide 2 clinical references from your current/previous employer
  • Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
  • Ability to explain treatments and conditions
  • Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
  • Relevant Nursing Diploma or Qualification
  • DBS Page 1 & 2 (Consent to apply)

The main focus for a RCN, will be on delivering hands-on person-centred care to our service users and will include:

  • Administering, reviewing and monitoring medications
  • Assessing care needs
  • Putting together care-plans and reviewing them as and when necessary
  • Supervising the care team to ensure that the shift runs smoothly and efficiently

Required skills for the RCN position:

  • PEG
  • Medication administration
  • Oral Suctioning
  • Intermittent Catheter
  • Flatus Tube
