What We Offer

  • Starting pay from £16.00 per hour
  • Immediate start available
  • Contracted hours
  • Night shifts
  • Two-week rolling rota (one weekend on, one weekend off)
  • Paid shadow shifts before working independently
  • Ongoing clinical support from our experienced Clinical Lead

About the Role

You'll provide high-quality, one-to-one care to individuals within their own homes, supporting a variety of community-based complex care packages. Every day is different, giving you the opportunity to use your clinical skills while building meaningful relationships with the people you support.

We're looking for caring professionals who are passionate about delivering safe, compassionate, and person-centred care.

Experience Required

To apply, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 6 months' UK Complex Care experience
  • A compassionate, professional, and reliable approach
  • Excellent communication and observational skills
  • Confidence working independently while being part of a wider clinical team

Experience with the Following is Desirable

We support clients with a variety of complex healthcare needs, including:

  • Spinal injury
  • Cough Assist
  • Epilepsy
  • Huntington's disease
  • PEG feeding and care
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Ventilator care
  • Catheter care

Your Responsibilities

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality personal care with dignity and respect
  • Provide specialist clinical care under the guidance of our Clinical Lead
  • Support with nutrition, hydration, and medication administration
  • Monitor and report any changes in your client's health or wellbeing
  • Promote independence, choice, and quality of life
  • Assist with light household duties where required
  • Maintain accurate care documentation
  • Follow company policies and clinical procedures
  • Participate in team meetings, supervisions, and ongoing training

We are currently recruiting for two care packages in the Oswestry area and are particularly looking for carers who can support weekend shifts.

About the Role

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, and quality of life. You'll support individuals with complex healthcare needs within their own homes, helping them live as independently and comfortably as possible.

You will be supporting a service user with conditions and care requirements including:

  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Autism
  • PTSD
  • Diabetes
  • Moving & Handling
  • Medication Administration
  • Urostomy and Colostomy Care
  • Mic-Key PEG Feeding
  • Nebulisers
  • Manual Cough Assist
  • NIV (overnight and whilst asleep)
  • BiPAP Support

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality personal care
  • Support with nutrition, hydration, and medication
  • Assist with daily living activities and light household duties
  • Follow individual care plans and clinical guidance
  • Monitor and report any changes in health or wellbeing
  • Work closely with our Clinical Lead and management team
  • Attend training, supervisions, and team meetings
  • Maintain the highest standards of care and professionalism
