We have now expanded our work and now require Children Support Workers to join our family based in Birmingham (Edgbaston)
We expect our candidates to be able to effectively communicate with staff and supervisors ensuring delivery of an efficient and responsive service which meets the needs of our clients and their service users.
a range of young individuals with Learning disabilities, Autism and challenging behaviour.
Children Support Workers:
We encourage you to develop healthy relationships with clients, service users, relatives, and visitors and you should have the ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, service users, and appropriate family members ensuring the approach used is appropriate and empathetic.
You are required to report any changes/concerns to the office and/or the out of hours service.
Skills and Attributes:
- Ensure Confidentiality is always kept (when appropriate).
- Have the ability to relate to people from a wide variety of backgrounds and to ensure respectable approaches are kept paramount when working with clients and their service users.
- We prefer you to have good team working skills but a good use of understanding and knowledge within the health and social care sector enabling you to use your own initiative is a must.
- To be patient and have a good sense of humour.
- Be reliable and punctual at all times.
- Restraint training
- Comply with all policies and procedures
- Level 3 Children’s support work qualification (preferred but not essential)

· 2 years experience or more in the UK is crucial
· Must provide at least 2 professional care references
· Must hold a valid UK driving licence (manual)
