Secure Healthcare Solutions is currently recruiting experienced Theatre Practitioners (Recovery) to join our growing theatre team. This role offers the opportunity to support patients through the immediate post-operative phase, delivering safe and effective recovery care.
We welcome applications from professionals with recovery experience who are confident working within a perioperative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality post-operative care in the recovery environment
- Monitor and assess patients following surgery and anaesthesia
- Manage airway, pain, and vital signs in the immediate post-operative phase
- Recognise and respond promptly to patient deterioration
- Support clinical assessments, care planning, and accurate documentation
- Maintain infection prevention and control standards
- Work closely with the wider theatre and ward teams to ensure safe patient transfer
- Promote a professional and supportive team culture
Requirements
- Valid NMC or HCPC registration
- At least 2 years of recent Recovery experience within theatres
- Strong knowledge of post-operative care and patient monitoring
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A calm, responsive, and patient-centred approach
