Secure Healthcare Solutions is currently recruiting experienced Theatre Practitioners (Scrub) to join our growing theatre team.
This role offers the opportunity to work within Scrub, supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred perioperative care.
We welcome applications from professionals with strong scrub experience who are confident working within a fast-paced perioperative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality perioperative care throughout the patient journey
- Work within the Scrub role, preparing and maintaining sterile fields, instruments, and equipment
- Provide skilled intraoperative support, anticipating surgeon requirements
- Support clinical assessments, care planning, and accurate documentation
- Monitor patient condition and escalate concerns when required
- Maintain strict infection prevention and control standards
- Contribute to audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Promote a professional, efficient, and collaborative team culture
Requirements
- Valid NMC or HCPC registration
- At least 2 years of recent Scrub experience within theatres
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A calm, focused, and patient-centred approach
