Salary: £40 – £50 Per Hour
Secure Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Theatre Team Leader to join our insourcing theatre teams.
This role offers the opportunity to lead across a range of surgical specialties, supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred perioperative care.
You will play a key role in coordinating theatre activity, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring efficient, safe patient flow throughout the perioperative pathway.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership across theatre environments, including Scrub, Anaesthetics, and Recovery
- Coordinate theatre lists, ensuring safe and efficient patient flow
- Support and supervise theatre staff, providing guidance during procedures
- Maintain high standards of perioperative care throughout the patient journey
- Monitor patient safety and escalate concerns when required
- Support clinical assessments, care planning, and accurate documentation
- Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control standards
- Contribute to audits, service improvement, and maintaining quality standards

Requirements
- Valid NMC or HCPC registration
- Minimum 3+ years’ recent theatre experience
- Previous senior or leadership experience within a theatre setting
- Experience across multiple theatre disciplines (Scrub, Anaesthetics, or Recovery) is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of perioperative care and theatre processes
- Confident decision-making and ability to lead in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and team coordination skills
