Shift Patterns

Term Time

  • Monday to Friday: 2:00pm – 7:00pm
  • Saturday & Sunday: 7:00am – 7:00pm
  • Waking Nights: 7:00pm – 9:00am

School Holidays (Non-Term Time)

  • Days: 7:00am – 7:00pm
  • Nights: 7:00pm – 7:00am

About the Role

You'll be supporting two wonderful young people, aged 16 and 19, with complex care needs and learning disabilities in their family home.

They live with their parents in a loving and supportive environment and are both happy, positive young people who enjoy engaging with those around them. They're looking for care professionals who are warm, patient, enthusiastic and fully present—people who will take the time to build trust, encourage independence and make every day enjoyable.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a consistent care team that has a genuine impact on the lives of both the individuals you support and their family.

Experience Required

We're looking for applicants with at least two years' experience in Complex Care, together with a strong understanding of supporting individuals with learning and physical disabilities.

Experience with the following is essential:

  • Epilepsy
  • PEG feeding
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Reflux management
  • Autism and behaviours that may challenge
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Scoliosis

Your Responsibilities

As a Complex Care Assistant, you'll:

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
  • Provide personal care with dignity and respect
  • Support with nutrition, hydration and PEG feeding
  • Administer medication in line with care plans
  • Deliver clinical care under the guidance of our Clinical Lead
  • Promote independence, choice and wellbeing
  • Assist with light household duties
  • Monitor and report any changes in health or wellbeing
  • Work closely with the family, management and wider care team
  • Attend regular team meetings and supervision sessions

The Role

As a Complex Care Assistant, you'll provide high-quality, person-centred care to a client in their own home, helping them live as independently and comfortably as possible.

Working alongside our experienced Clinical Lead and wider care team, you'll receive ongoing support while delivering safe, compassionate care tailored to the client's individual needs.

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following is desirable:

  • Tracheostomy care
  • Tracheostomy suctioning and inner tube changes
  • Medication administration
  • Wet and dry ventilation
  • PEG feeding
  • Diabetes management
  • Nebulisers
  • Mechanical cough assist

Your Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care with dignity and respect
  • Delivering clinical support under the guidance of our Clinical Lead
  • Supporting with nutrition and hydration
  • Administering medication as required
  • Assisting with light domestic duties
  • Following company policies and procedures
  • Reporting any concerns regarding the client's health and wellbeing
  • Communicating effectively with management and the wider care team
  • Attending team meetings and supervision sessions

About the Role

You will be providing person-centred care and support to a service user within their own home, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

This role involves working a rolling rota of 12-hour day and night shifts, so flexibility and commitment are essential.

Experience Required

The successful candidate should have experience supporting individuals with:

  • NG Tube care
  • Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
  • Non-Epileptic Seizures
  • CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome)
  • Medication administration
  • Buccal Midazolam administration

Key Responsibilities

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality personal care with dignity and respect
  • Provide clinical support under the guidance of our Clinical Lead
  • Support with nutrition and hydration needs
  • Administer and support medication requirements
  • Assist with daily living activities and light household duties
  • Monitor and report any changes in the service user's health and wellbeing
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Liaise effectively with management and healthcare professionals
  • Attend team meetings, supervisions, and training sessions
  • Adhere to company policies and best practice standards at all times

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in Complex Care

  • Catheter care experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred
