Support Worker

Salary: 12 – 14

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Worker to join our team in the Leicester area (LE3 8LT).

Driver not essential to the role but must be able to get to the client.

Secure Healthcare Solutions is a care homecare provider. Working with adults and children in their own homes – we provide high quality care for service users with a wide range of conditions. We have a strong operational team with a robust clinical and quality process always ensuring the safety of our care teams and the Service user.

Pay Rate: £12-14

Various shift pattern i.e. 2pm – 9pm, 8am – 6pm, 8am – 4pm

Immediate start

We are recruiting for a Support Worker to provide care to a service user in their own home.

** Our service user has specifically requested for female care assistants on their team.

The successful candidate must have experience with the following:

  • Learning disabilities
  • Communication and behavioural knowledge
  • PEG is beneficial but not essential

Whist promoting the independence of the individual service user and meeting their care needs, our Support Worker must be willing to:

  • Assist/provide personal care – client has a wheelchair
  • To provide clinical support provided by clients’ own staff.
  • Provide nutrition and hydration support
  • Support with medication needs
  • Assist in domestic duties
  • Comply with all policies and procedures
  • To liaise with management
  • To report back any concern relating to the health of the service user
  • To participate in Team meetings & Supervisions

Registered Mental Health Nurse

Salary: 24-48 per hour

  • 6 months UK nursing experience
  • Valid nursing license
  • Valid NMC pin
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed
  • Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
  • Ability to explain treatments and conditions
  • Working knowledge of health care laws and regulation
